2. Collection and storage of personal data

When visiting the website (server log files)

When you access this website, the server automatically processes the following information: IP address, date and time of access, file requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, referrer URL.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the technical stability and security of the website. Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest, unless they are required to investigate a security incident.

When placing an order

In order to process your order we handle the data you enter during checkout: first name and surname, billing address, delivery address, e-mail address and, if provided, telephone number and order notes.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of the purchase contract. Invoice data is additionally stored on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, our statutory retention obligation.

When contacting us

If you write to us by e-mail or through the contact form, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

3. Disclosure of data to third parties

Your data is disclosed only to the following recipients:

Postal and shipping service providers. To deliver your order we pass your name and delivery address to Deutsche Post AG or DHL (Deutsche Post DHL Group, Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany). The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Hosting and e-mail service providers. For the operation of the website and the sending of order confirmations we use service providers based in Germany, on the basis of data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Tax advisers and tax authorities. Invoice data is disclosed within the scope of our statutory accounting and tax obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Payment is accepted exclusively by advance bank transfer. We do not transmit any payment data to payment service providers.

4. Transfers to third countries

Your data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union, with one exception: in the case of delivery to a third country we pass your name and delivery address to the shipping company and, where required for customs clearance, to the customs authorities of the country of destination. The legal basis is Article 49(1)(b) GDPR, performance of the contract.

5. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies, required for the operation of the shopping cart and the checkout process. The legal basis is section 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG in conjunction with Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. No consent is required for these.

No cookies are set for analytics, tracking or marketing purposes. We do not use any web analytics services and no marketing pixels.

Fonts and all other resources are served from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts.

8. Right to object

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right under Article 21 GDPR to object to such processing at any time.
